The fabulous and famous green dress that Kiera Knightley wore in "Atonement" was voted best film costume of all time apparently....and I can understand why. She did look absolutely stunning in it and it is the kind of dress that just takes your breath away....quite incredible....

Beautiful!! I love all this green.

Lonicera :

Had to comment - this is my favourite colour. I only have to lose myself in a good picture with green in it and I feel myself relax, and walk into the image. Lovely feeling.
On a lighter note, Beyonce's dress made me smile to imagine how on earth she'd manage to go to the loo in it....

Cathi :

Wonderful photos, Simone....I want that first house, so peaceful and lovely...these images brought a big smile to my face, thanks! :)

Jane :

I love green and am planning a green room for sitting in so this is great inspiration. You would have to be pretty flat chested to pull off that Keira dress. The film was wonderful but I would have to say I preferred the book, maybe because I didn't know the ending when I read it !! xoxo

Dustjacket Attic :

Hi honey,

This is glorious, you have just found the most beautiful images.

That dress, yes totally amazing and the first picture of the cottage is just like a dream. I love it.

Those two green chairs in that fantastic sitting room are gorgeous. The ivy covered brownstone looks fabulous...yes please.

Thank you darling, and so pleased you like KS :)

Oh Simone! Divine, divine, divine. Mr Magoo is currently yelling from his room after his afternoon nap, but I just had to quickly stop by and say.....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Apologies to Kermit, but it actually looks like it WOULD be easy being green. Meredy xo.

Simone, I love green and this post is stunning. I am an avid gardener and green is just perfectly beautiful and soothing. I love Kiera's dress too. I have a lot of red highlights in my hair so I like to wear green.

Oh Simone...where do I begin to comment on this divine 'green' post.
Kiera...fashion to die for.
Cushion with the satin ribbon...got to have one.
Cottages and houses..., so beautiful. Dream homes.
The enourmous doors that we see all over Europe....one of my favourite things and I always try to peep in to see what lurks behind them !!!!
That country bunch of flowers...exactly what I have made up when it's someones birthday or celebration.........and the swinging seat on the verandah...something that I yearn for (although not practical in Britain!!!!)
Simone, you have pulled out all the stops today and created the perfect post.
Absolutely wonderful. XXXX
