A Little Light....

I love outdoor lighting and these are some of my favourite images....

....candles in jamjars, lights in paper bags, hanging lights, hurricane lanterns....

....so simple....yet they create something romantic, special and magical....

....they win my heart every time....

Thank you for all the great comments about my new bag....I will take a photograph of it but might have to wait a few days/or until Paris since my camera is currently receiving some TLC at the camera shop :)

Happy Wednesday!

  11. Simone, the Las Hadas photo is fabulous, the place is so beautiful. But the little square crystal "chandelier" is my fav. Isn't it amazing what brilliant & creative people can accomplish with just a bit of time. Have a splendid time in Paris. xx's Marsha

I have a question - how do the couple on the little jetty out at sea get there? A suitably lit row boat?! Each image is just magical...makes me want to...well...live a more romantic life than the one I do! What will we do when you are away in Paris Simone?! LB x

  24. This is my absolute fave thing - hang out outdoors in the evening with beautiful weather and candles or with fairy lights with friends and family!

We have had some beautiful weather this week, but heading into a few days rain...hopefully by the weekend it will be sunny again!

  25. This brings back memories of our last trip. Time to plan another vacation! :)
Great to hear you have enjoyed your facial. And you used to live on Heath Street? Hampstead is one of my absolute favourite neighbourhoods. The Horseshoe Pub was our hangout of choice.

  34. Simone, you are some sort of outdoor lighting savant aren't you? If you were on MasterMind, that would be your area of expertise perhaps? I love that about you! When I picture you in my mind's eye, I always imagine you surrounded by fairy lights. So purty.

Having said that, I will think of you while you're away, sashaying down the streets of Paris, burnt-orange, Ted Baker handbag by your side, head angled ever so elegantly as you head into your next boutique or cafe.

I hope you and your lovely ones have a gorgeous Easter and that the Easter bunny hippity hops ever so generously in your household. Meredy xo.
