  2. Oh Simone the sun is barely shining where we are and we haven't had more than a handful of truly warm summer days...summer is slipping away and I am living it vicariously through your wonderful photos.

  6. I think I may have visited that pool in the first shot! Sadly however I did not look so glamourous! Unfortunately it is cold and rainy here is Sydney so summer envy is in full swing - so pleased however it is sunny in your part of the world - ENJOY as we want it back soon - Pretty Please! 8. Okay, how much do I love your blog? If you could see me now, I'm attempting to stretch my arms from Sydney to London while saying "Thiiiiis much". Just read your Eat,Pray, Love post....loved the book, like nothing I've ever read before really. Although as you say, it did meander into the belly-button gazing at times. Can't wait to see the movie.

Luckily, I do love your blog "Thiiiis much" otherwise I'd be very cranky about this meanspirited post for today. We're blinky freezing in sodden Sydney! Glad the sun is shining somewhere:)

How many days until holidays? It's got to be soon, right? Hope you're having a great week. Meredy xo.

  10. The sun keeps popping in and out, but no rain yet thankfully! Typical - whilst the kids were still at school it was baking hot, and now in the hoidays we are taking each day as it comes. Beautiful pics today. Love the citrus fruits and the lavender lemonade drinks (Sunday Suppers I believe). Great note on things to do this summer - more naps would be top of my list!

  24. Dear Simone,
Well, this post has got me champing at the bit to get to the airport for our Italian holiday in a couple of weeks. I am ready for beautiful scenery, warm weather, fabulous food and chilled cocktails. I'm afraid that I won't quite look likr the girl in the first photo though !!!! Beautiful photographs to go with a very warm day here in Londinium, capitsl of England !!!!
Happy wednesday to you, Simone. XXXX

  27. Great post! I love the images.

My favorite would have to be the seashells in the sand! I haven't seen seashells in so long!

Best wishes from one blogger to another,

  28. Hello - many congrats on the Cosmo nomination and hope you win. Enjoy One Day - it's a fun read.
I'm v sorry you're no longer following my blog - I would really value and appreciate any advice or comments you have on it and how I can make it better...? Please be honest! I am going to spend more time on it in the next few months, but am currently about to move house (to a different country!) so have been a bit waylaid.
    with best wishes, Sarah
