The Bread Girl....

....our holiday destination....

So the holidays are finally here!!!!

Suitcases are packed, passports are ready and the engine is running as we head for the airport....
the south of France awaits....

We will be spending most of our days at the beach.....reading (I think I may have filled half a suitcase with books already!) and swimming (I absolutely LOVE swimming in the sea, there's such a feeling of freedom)....

....walking to a couple of favourite places, eating ice-cream and sandwiches on the beach, taking the train along the coast to Monaco for the day, popping over the border to Italy to the fabulous market there....

....and just generally having lots of quality family time and taking some much needed time to reflect, sit back and enjoy....

....we have some wonderful restaurants to visit....but my husband loves to explore local markets, seek out new delicacies, buy fresh fish from the local fishermen and cook for us....he's always done this wherever we are....

....I find the best apartment, book the holiday, book the flights, wash/iron/pack our clothes, answer the question "Is it holiday time yet?" about a thousand times, generally organise a million other things and get us to the airport on time....

....but in France my job is just to buy bread.
From the bakery on the corner of our street just yards away.
Baguettes. Banettes. Croissants. Pain au chocolat. Pain au raisin. Croque Monsieur. Fougasse.
I'm the girl who buys bread.
The Bread Girl.
I love my job :)

See you in about three weeks and enjoy my guest-posts while I am away....
Missing you already!
