SAG Awards - Best Dressed

Angie Harman in Monique Lhuillier

Mariska Hargitay in Issac Mizrahi

Mila Kunis in Alexander McQueen

Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta

Natalie Portman in Azzaro - with $2 million of Tiffany jewels!

Julianna Margulies in YSL

Sofia Vergara in Roberto Cavalli

This was intended to be a Top Ten of the best dressed actors at last night's SAG awards....but I couldn't actually find ten dresses that I liked!
I don't like Worst Dressed Lists so I'm not going to name names but I thought the gowns last night were so disappointing.

Mila Kunis, looking fabulous in Alexander McQueen Resort, was my favourite look of the night.

Well done to "The King's Speech" for Best Picture and Best Actor awards...I'd love Geoffrey Rush to win too, he was fantastic....

Happy Monday!!

  2. Hi Simone,
Well you picked out some beautiful ones......the Alexander McQueen was my favourite as well. Don't tell anyone but, as I type, I am watching the highlights on E News !!!!
I thought that Helena Bonham Carter had really toned it down but still remained her quirky and individual self and looked lovely. The only part that I am not keen on is the wearing of the zillions of £££££'s worth of jewellery. Rather obscene and not very classy but, that's just my opinion and a bit of a reserved British one where less is more !!!! haha XXXX

  4. Dear Simone, I love the McQueen too. Lea Michelle looks wonderful in de la Renta. And a special mention to Helena who I love in everything - however bonkers.

Thank you for your lovely comment. It is a dilemma. The Actor wants one now and I find the whole idea terrifying! I think it's better to start earlier personally. I'm frightened I'd never ever have any time to myself again which is probably why I've never done it xx

  7. I agree with you, Simone, almost everyone had on the wrong outfit. Their fittings were non-existant it seems. Julianna M looked great, and I think The Good Wife is the best TV show on the air. Do you guys get that in London? xx's

  8. Yes, you're spot on here Simone. Everyone played it safe, even dear old Helena B-C! Angie Harman looked OK, but somewhere in Africa there are a couple of ostrichs shivering with the cold sans their feathers.

  9. Loving all your fashion picks dear Simone! Lea Michelle was definitely rocking the Oscar de la Renta - love the little belt, such a sweet touch. Mariska is one of my perennial faves and I adore her in that deep shade of blue. Your picks are perfect as always!! xoxxo

  10. Mila looked fantastic. I agree. There were a lot of disappointing dresses. People better step it up for the Oscars.
