This was intended to be a Top Ten of the best dressed actors at last night's SAG awards....but I couldn't actually find ten dresses that I liked!
I don't like Worst Dressed Lists so I'm not going to name names but I thought the gowns last night were so disappointing.
Mila Kunis, looking fabulous in Alexander McQueen Resort, was my favourite look of the night.
Well done to "The King's Speech" for Best Picture and Best Actor awards...I'd love Geoffrey Rush to win too, he was fantastic....
A great recent discovery has been Groupon - you sign up and then receive an email every day letting you know what discounts are on offer (there are usually three+). You sign up by UK city so the deals are all local - they are mostly beauty or health-related treatments but they do have restaurant, theatre and holiday deals too.
If you are in London, you get double the choice with two emails a day.
I have already booked several deals through them - beauty treatments which have been up to 70% off - and I have booked a spa day at a top London hotel with some girlfriends which was 80% off!!
When you buy, you are emailed a voucher which you then have at least three months to use - you phone the salon/restaurant/company yourself to book what suits you.
Take a look here!!

Diane Kruger at the Chanel show in Paris this week...her dress is beautiful but what I really love are her shoes....

Lots of dresses and an extra helping of girly stuff with the Paris couture shows this week so I thought we needed some manly handsomeness to balance things up a little....I give you Mr Paul Newman.....
So Friday at last...and today is the first day this week that I haven't had a sick child at home....I think the gods of motherhood must have been getting their revenge on me for gadding about from one beauty treatment to the next last week!!
One of my favourite things about this week has to be the Paris Couture Shows which were just breathtaking.....Chanel, Valentino, Elie Saab.....beautiful, wearable gowns which I am sure we will be seeing again on red carpets around the world.
I also - finally - joined Twitter this week....you can follow me, should you wish to do so, at/on @ironingbasket :)
My husband is skiing in Austria on a "boys trip" as I type....so this week-end, I will be catching up with all my favourite TV shows, luxuriating (hopefully) in the bliss of a whole bed to myself (little monkeys permitting)....and maybe doing a little retail therapy (little monkeys permitting once again).

Natalie Portman for V magazine by Mario Testino
(For Jeffrey - in case you are reading!)
I saw "Black Swan" on Tuesday night....it was quite an experience!
Natalie Portman was absolutely fantastic in the role and visually the film was stunning.....but oh my goodness, parts of it were terrifying, I literally had chills - and at certain points, actually had to cover my eyes!!
I think I was so fascinated by her and the beauty of the ballet that I had really overlooked the fact that the film is a psychological thriller which also deals with the supernatural....EEEEP!!!!
Definitely a must-see movie though....and wow, Natalie Portman is beautiful.
Total Fabulous Gorgeousness from Elie Saab in Paris for his Spring 2011 Couture Show....romantic fairy-tale dresses of the most beautiful designs, shapes and fabrics....some Academy Award best dresses amongst them too I should think.
I love Elie Saab, he is without a shadow of a doubt my most favourite designer, his creations are so wonderful, I can't even imagine what it must feel like to wear one.
