London Fashion Week : Burberry Prorsum A/W 2012

Burberry Prorsum's A/W 2012 "Town and Field" collection was the hottest ticket in town yesterday and got rave reviews as always.

Quintessentially British, so feminine and full of beautifully rich autumnal colours and fabrics, the show was  breathtaking. And those bags....fabulous!!

and the "Frow"....glamorous as always at Burberry....

  1. Brilliant collection, Simone. Those 2 skirts will become iconic, I think.

  2. Great post, Simone...I agree with Marsha about the skirts! A Burberry trench the epitome of most of this collection.

  3. I'm loving the peplums on the jackets....let's hope that Topshop will be doing an hommage to Burberry later in the year !!
Loved Stella McCartney .... just wish I'd been there. XXXX

  4. I like the teal skirt and those yellow python gloves. Ooooh, la la!

  5. Oh so that dress Laura Bailey is wearing.

  6. Ohhh so luxe! What I would give to attend that one. The owl motifs are lovely and you're right; so British. With the Olympics coming I am even more patriotic than usual. Love the 'frow' pics...would love to hear the chat there. Wasn't there a to-do between Pixie Lott and Pixie Geldof about seating? My husband informed me of this!! Lou x

  7. frills...ruffles...greys...for me total British heaven...

i adored pretty much all of this and how divine is all that velvet...makes me miss Ol'Blighty- also makes me a little bit happy that we are heading into Autumn soon and them winter....

hugs to you across the globe sweet..M xxx

  8. Burberry always has such great coats and beautiful pieces.

  9. ohh it was so good wasnt it! i watched it live from my couch haha. xx
