March at last!!

I love March....

it's my daughter's birthday, Mother's Day (here in Britain) and the official start of spring.
longer days, brighter evenings, windows open, breakfast outside....

Altho today is such a beautifully sunny day in London that you would be forgiven for thinking it was already spring, it's gorgeous....

I love daffodils and as today is March 1 and St David's Day in Wales, this beautiful photo seemed perfect.

Happy March 1!!

I do love March, although I prefer the end of it, when it leaves like a lamb. It roars in like a lion - it is currently snowing here in Boston. The end of March bring my birthday as well, so I try to wait until then to start dreaming of daffodils. Have a happy day!

It's March 1, in Maine we are having the blizzard of the year.
Snow all night and all day.
I think something may be wrong

There is something so uplifting and cheerful about Daffodils. My daughter's birthday is in March too, she will be 19, that makes me feel VERY old!

Hope you are feeling better.

xx

The 1st of March was my mum's birthday so it's a special day for me Simone.
What a beautiful day today was.....I went to see my neice who lives on a dutch barge and, we went for a walk along the river. Imagine my suprise as I looked towards the river, to see a man and his wife enjoying sitting outside their barge, as naked as the day they were born!! Our neice told us they were naturists and they were obviously making the most of it !! Not what I expected to see on a Thursday afternoon's walk with my neice, daughter-in-law and grandson !! I'm hoping that the sun comes out on my next visit. Haha.
Enjoy the sunshine Simone and, you never know what you might see next time we have a warm, sunny day !! XXXX
