Summer Beauty : Coach Poppy Fragrance

Coach Poppy was launched in London earlier this year inspired by the "Coach Poppy girl".

I am a definite fan of Coach although I must confess that I wasn't familiar with the Coach Poppy range of handbags and accessories.

I love perfume and have three or four favourites that I alternate from day to day....depending on the season, the weather, how I'm feeling that day, what I am wearing....and I have to say that Coach Poppy is the most gorgeous perfume that I have come across for a long time....

I've been wearing it for the last couple of days.

It has a sweet, floral, fresh and very feminine aroma....if you look below at the combination of scents it contains, you will see there are many....

 bright cucumber flower petals, juicy mandarin, and the sparkling freshness of bright baby freesia buds....a lush bouquet of petally jasmine, pink water lily, Southern gardenia, and red candied rose petals wrapped in a rich crème brûlée accord....woody undertones of cedarwood and bleached sandalwood with lush vanilla and whipped marshmallow notes

I was surprised to find on reading more about the perfume that the view was that it was aimed at a slightly "younger" demographic - rather like the Coach Poppy handbags - since although it is very pretty, it didn't initially strike me as particularly young.

It is a lovely and very uplifting fragrance that I've really enjoying wearing....

it also lasts all day without having to be re-applied.

Interestingly it reminded me overwhelmingly of New York City....

Barneys, Bloomingdales, Fifth Avenue and my first trip to the city many years ago.

It's perfect for summer wearing too....

I shall continue to enjoy it....personally I think it suits any age....

to me perfume is about personality, style and personal taste....

and not how old your passport says you are :)
