Villefranche sur Mer, France....my destination
I'm packed & I'm ready.
today is the long long awaited day....
I am heading for France at last.
four weeks of the beach, of books....of sunshine bliss
simple days
hot days
endless days
family days
beautiful crystal clear Mediterranean water
ice cream days
double ice cream days
no make up, TV, newspapers, hairdryer
no phone
talking, playing, listening
thinking....lots of it
some planning
sleeping
reading
walking
running
baguettes, pain aux raisins, brie, peaches, olives
jambon, fromage, saucisson
ice cold drinks
a little wine
snails
bonjour, merci, au revoir, madame, monsieur
Cap Ferrat, Nice, Eze, Monaco, Beaulieu sur Mer
double decker trains
the flea market
Saturday morning food market
fireworks from the yachts in the harbour late at night
eat, read, talk, sleep....and repeat.
